Widely recognized for its extensive product portfolio including workholding solutions, specialty fasteners, and lifting solutions, Jergens India Pvt Ltd has never missed an edition of ACMEE. The company is now preparing to return once again to the upcoming exhibition, promising an even better showcase of pioneering solutions.
ACMEE is a tradition for Jergens India Pvt Ltd and not just a tradefair. To elaborate, Karthikeyan Dhanabal, Director–Channel Sales and Marketing, Jergens India Pvt Ltd, shares, “Jergens India has been a consistent participant in ACMEE since 2012, never missing an edition.”
For the company, the exhibition stands out as a crucial marketing platform, facilitating interactions with both new and existing clients. “It serves as a valuable space for receiving feedback on past products, fostering client engagement, and generating new inquiries,” he adds.
Shifting the focus to the event’s strategic location, Dhanabal states, “With Chennai being an automotive hub, ACMEE attracts a considerable number of potential prospects from cities like Bangalore, Coimbatore, Hyderabad, and more.” This paves the way for the company to meet people from the Automotive, Aerospace, Heavy Engineering, Defence, Healthcare, and several other sectors.
The company is widely recognized for its extensive product portfolio, catering to three business divisions: workholding solutions, specialty fasteners, and lifting solutions. Offering a quick glimpse at what visitors can look forward to, he shares, “To highlight some, the legendary Ball Locks, Zero Point Systems and Quick Loc Pallets will take the centre stage.” These products are designed specifically to facilitate ‘quick change’ and ‘setup time reduction’.
In addition to these core offerings, the company will also showcase its well-known wedge clamping mechanism, Ok-Vise, and modular rail systems. Speaking of specialty fasteners, the company will focus on aerospace and defence-grade fasteners, including quick-release pins (KLP) and key-locking threading inserts (MS & NAS). Furthermore, a dedicated section of the booth will display lifting solutions such as hoist rings.
According to Dhanabal, “The growth of automation and robotics in the Indian manufacturing industry has been remarkably transformative, and likewise enhancing the efficiency and productivity across all sectors.”
He further observed and emphasized the growing need for automation and robotics due to labor shortages and the high cost of skill development. Integrating artificial intelligence (AI) with Internet of Things (IoT), he believes, is more than just an advantage; it is now the need of the hour.
Moreover, the ‘Make in India’ initiative, according to him, shoulders this transition by attracting investments from India and internationally. “I don’t deny there are challenges,” he admitted, indicating that the transition might be a perilous journey. “But, where there is a will, there is a way–right?”
