Adept ProSign Pvt Ltd is returning to ACMEE at Chennai, one of India’s growing manufacturing hubs, ready to strengthen ties with customers and the machine tools fraternity. “The expo participation positions our organization as one of the leading indigenous creators of innovative workholding solutions for machining applications,” states Ambar Joshi, Director–Technical, Adept ProSign Pvt Ltd.
At ACMEE 2025, the company will be exhibiting its complete range of FlexGrip® High-Precision Workholding Systems—designed and manufactured entirely by the company in India. “This range of products is based primarily on Segmented Rubber Vulcanized Collets and Expanding Sleeves and the corresponding Collet Chucks and Expansion Mandrels,” he explains.
The range covers an extensive portfolio of products for internal diameter (ID) and outside diameter (OD) clamping in stationary and rotating configurations as well as pull-back and dead-length setups. They find applications in CNC turning, VMC, HMC grinding, gear machining, and other special-purpose machine tools.
Adding to the curated lineup, the company is to unveil its latest innovations during the event. “We will showcase our newly-developed Rubber Bonded Bar clamping collets for Sliding Head Machines like Citizen, Tsugami, Tornos, etc,” shares Joshi. These clamping collets offer users a superior technological advantage compared to the conventional spring steel-type collets.
Additionally, the company will introduce a bigger-sized PBC160 Pull-Back collet chucker set for the first time in Chennai. This product is capable of holding parts up to 160 mm OD. “This will be an out-of-the-box product contrary to the belief that collet chucks are suitable only for smaller diameter parts,” he explains.
