The MCH-400 is built on a moving column HMC configuration. The X and Y axes are on the column and the Z-axis is on table. The MCH-400 comes with a Rotary Automatic Pallet Changer and 1° Index Table as a standard offering. A 0.5° Index Table and a Continuous (0.001°) Rotary Table are also available as optional features.
The ATC and other elements are directly mounted on the machine structure, making the machine more compact and rigid for precision machining. The 40-Tool ATC is standard, and if the application demands more number of tools, 60-Tool ATC can be offered as optional.
Some of the key features of the machine include a pallet size of 400x500 mm, a table load capacity of 500 kg, a pallet swing of 1400 mm, a job swing diameter of 630 mm, a chip-to-chip time of 4 seconds, and a high spindle power of 18.5/15 kW.
